Job Description
Aurex is seeking a Program Manager to lead execution of SATCOM Ground Terminal programs supporting critical national security missions. This role is responsible for delivering integrated ground system capabilities, including command and control terminals, across the full program lifecycle. You will operate at the intersection of acquisition, technical execution, and stakeholder engagement to ensure programs deliver on cost, schedule, and performance commitments. This role requires a leader who can manage complexity, align cross-functional teams, and drive disciplined execution in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. In this role, you will lead program execution across SATCOM ground systems, ensuring alignment with mission objectives, technical requirements, and contractual obligations. You will manage requirements and technical baselines while overseeing program cost and schedule performance. You will identify, analyze, and manage program risks, issues, and opportunities, implementing mitigation and handling plans to maintain delivery momentum. You will coordinate and engage with government stakeholders and cross-functional teams, leading program reviews and ensuring clear communication across all levels. You will support acquisition planning and execution for DoD space programs, including ground system software and hardware, and drive integration across engineering, operations, and business teams to deliver mission-ready capability.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience with DoD acquisition planning, contract management, program management, leadership, and business operations
• 5+ years of experience with DoD Major Defense Acquisition Programs for space systems, including ground systems software and hardware
• 2+ years of experience with testing and fielding ground systems or components, including command and control terminals
• Experience identifying, analyzing, and managing program risks, issues, and opportunities, including development of handling plans
• Experience managing stakeholders and coordinating and hosting engagements
• Experience with Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Experience managing requirements and technical baselines
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and independently, demonstrating initiative to complete complex tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Active Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree

Desired:

• 2+ years of experience with Military Satellite Communications mission area
• Experience with software programs utilizing Agile methodologies
• Experience with Confluence or Jira
• Experience with the Software Acquisition Pathway
• Active Top Secret clearance
• Master’s degree

How You Will Be Rewarded
The salary range for this role is $180,000 - $218,000 per year.
